Delivery Text Alerts

About the program

This program is operated by T & W Bauman Enterprises, carrying on business as IBS of Brampton (All Batteries), 7835 Highway 50, Unit 14 & 15, Woodbridge, Ontario L4H 4X9, Canada. We offer an optional text-message service that keeps you informed about your battery deliveries: a morning notice that your order is on the truck, an arriving-soon alert, and a delivery confirmation. This is a transactional service tied to your account’s deliveries — it is not a marketing program, and consent is never a condition of ordering from us.

How you opt in

Opt-in is a deliberate action you take — it is never on by default, and we never add a number that hasn’t asked for these messages. You enter a mobile number and check the delivery-alerts box shown below. Because we require a double opt-in, we then text that number a one-time confirmation, and you must reply YES before any delivery alerts are sent. This is what the consent step looks like:

This is an illustration of the opt-in screen. After you save, we send a one-time confirmation text (“Reply YES to get delivery text alerts, or STOP to opt out”); alerts begin only once you reply YES. Your consent is recorded with a timestamp on your account.

Program details

• Use case & message type: account notifications — transactional delivery-day status updates for orders on your account (on the truck, arriving soon, and delivered).
• Message frequency: varies with your delivery schedule. You only receive texts on days you have a delivery; there is no fixed number of messages.
• Cost: we do not charge for this service. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
• Carriers: supported on major Canadian and U.S. mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

• IBS Brampton: Truck 4 is about 20 minutes away. Reply STOP to opt out.

Opting out and getting help

You can stop the messages at any time by replying STOP to any text we send. After you reply STOP we send one confirmation and then stop texting that number. To start again, reply START. Reply HELP to any message, or call us at (905) 264-0080, for help. We keep a record of when consent was given and withdrawn.

Your privacy

We use the mobile number you provide only to send the delivery messages you opted into and to handle your opt-out and help requests. We do not sell or share your mobile number or your text-message opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is shared only with the messaging service providers that physically deliver our texts, solely for that purpose.
