Who we are

This site and our dealer services are operated by T & W Bauman Enterprises, carrying on business as IBS of Brampton (All Batteries), an authorized Interstate Batteries distributor located at 7835 Highway 50, Unit 14 & 15, Woodbridge, Ontario L4H 4X9, Canada (“IBS Brampton”, “we”, “us”). Our dealer portal software is built and operated on our behalf by Akoolai, our technology provider.

What we collect

We hold the information needed to run your account with us: your business name and contacts, delivery addresses, order and delivery history, invoices and balances, the email address and mobile number you provide for notifications, and routine technical logs of portal use.

How we use it

We use this information to operate your account: taking and fulfilling orders, scheduling and confirming deliveries, invoicing, consignment management, and sending you service communications about those things. We do not sell your information.

Text messages

If you turn on text-message delivery notifications in your account, we will text the mobile number you provide with delivery-day updates: a morning notice that your order is on the truck, an arriving-soon alert, and a delivery confirmation. We use a double opt-in — a new number receives a one-time confirmation text and must reply YES before any alerts are sent. Marketing texts are separate and are sent only with your own express written consent, which is optional and never a condition of doing business with us.

We do not sell or share your mobile number or your text-message opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is shared only with the messaging service providers that physically deliver our texts, solely for that purpose.

Message frequency varies with your delivery schedule. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help — or turn texts off in your account. We keep a record of when consent was given and withdrawn.

Retention and security

Account and transaction records are retained for as long as you hold an account with us and as required for tax and business records. Access to portal data is restricted to our staff and our technology provider, under access controls, and portal traffic is encrypted in transit.

Your choices and contact

You can review and update your contact details and notification preferences in your account at any time. We handle personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA, and commercial electronic messages in accordance with CASL.
